National Pain Centre PRC Statement:

The Michael G. DeGroote National Pain Centre (NPC) at McMaster University is working to make a meaningful contribution in addressing the problem of pain in Canada. Our mission is to improve the management of chronic pain through the dissemination of best-practice information. In addition to knowledge transfer around the Canadian Guideline for Safe and Effective Use of Opioids for Chronic Non-Cancer Pain the NPC is collaborating with various groups locally, provincially and nationally to develop tools and information that will assist health care professionals, patients and the public in making better decisions around pain management. We are pleased to support the Pain Resource Centre’s body map image providing information to people whose pain impacts their daily activities.
